Been testing Thunderpick's new prop builder since they rolled it out Tuesday. You can now combine individual player stats instead of taking separate bets — grabbed Nikola Jokic over 11.5 rebounds + over 7.5 assists at +185 for tonight's Nuggets game.

The math seems cleaner than betting these separately. Jokic hit both marks in 8 of his last 11 games, and the combined odds are better than what you'd get multiplying two individual props. DraftKings would price this around +220 if you could even build it there.

Anyone else notice the player prop builders getting more sophisticated this season? The correlation pricing feels more accurate than the basic SGP stuff we had last year.

Jokic is a lock for those numbers against Chicago's interior defense. We're giving up 13.2 rebounds per game to opposing centers over the last 15 games, and our assist rate allowed is sitting at 24.8% since the All-Star break. DeMar's been forcing help rotations that leave Jokic with easy dump-off opportunities.

That +185 is solid value. I hit a similar builder on FanDuel last week — Giannis over 12.5 boards + over 6.5 assists against the Pistons at +165. Cashed easy when he went 15/8 in a blowout. The correlation models are definitely getting smarter about big men who facilitate.

You're overthinking this. Prop builders are just the books finding new ways to juice you on correlated events. That +185 probably has 15% more house edge baked in than betting the props straight.

Been using Thunderpick for their crypto payouts mainly, but this prop builder is actually decent. Hit a Luka triple-double + over 28.5 points combo at +240 last Friday — took about 90 minutes to process the Bitcoin withdrawal after it cashed.

The interface is cleaner than most. You can see the correlation adjustment in real-time as you add legs. Much better than the clunky SGP builders on the regulated books that take forever to calculate odds.

Wait, how do you know if the correlation pricing is fair? I've been betting props individually because I thought combining them always made the odds worse. Is there a way to check if +185 on Jokic rebounds + assists is better than betting them separately?

I've been tracking this across multiple books since December. The correlation adjustments vary wildly depending on the book's risk model. BUSR tends to be more aggressive on their pricing — I got Lakers team total over 115 + LeBron over 25 points at +155 there when other books were offering +130 for the same combination.

The key is understanding which stats actually correlate. Rebounds and assists for centers like Jokic have positive correlation because both happen more in slower-paced games. But something like points and rebounds can have negative correlation if the player scores efficiently early and sits in blowouts. The smart books adjust for this, the lazy ones just multiply independent probabilities.

Thunderpick's model seems pretty sophisticated for a crypto-focused book. Their NBA totals have been sharp all season.

The real value is finding books that haven't updated their correlation models yet. Some of the smaller offshore sites are still pricing these like independent events. Easy money if you can find the gaps.
