Just cashed out $875 from XBet using Litecoin instead of Bitcoin and the difference was night and day. Bitcoin withdrawal last month took 4.5 hours to hit my wallet, but this Litecoin payout showed up in 18 minutes.
The network fees were way lower too —
Anyone else switching to LTC for offshore cashouts? Wondering if other books are seeing similar speed differences or if XBet just has better Litecoin processing.

The block time difference is real but that 18-minute window sounds lucky. Litecoin's 2.5-minute blocks still need 6 confirmations for most exchanges, so you're looking at 15+ minutes minimum. Bitcoin needs 3-6 confirmations depending on the book.
What really matters is the book's hot wallet setup. Sportsbetting.ag processes both coins fast because they batch transactions every 30 minutes during peak hours. I've seen Bitcoin clear in under an hour there while other places take half a day.
Network fees are definitely better on Litecoin right now — Bitcoin's averaging

Been using Litecoin exclusively since October and the speed difference is consistent across multiple books. Vave processed my last three LTC withdrawals in under 25 minutes each —
The real advantage isn't just speed though. Litecoin transactions are way easier to track on block explorers. Less network congestion means your transaction doesn't get stuck in some fee market bidding war like Bitcoin does during busy periods.
I keep a separate Litecoin wallet just for gambling payouts now. Electrum-LTC works perfectly and the transaction IDs are cleaner to verify. Had one book try to claim they sent a Bitcoin payment that never showed up — with Litecoin the blockchain evidence is crystal clear within minutes.
Only downside is fewer books accept it compared to Bitcoin, but the major ones all support LTC withdrawals now.

XBet's Litecoin processing is solid but they cap withdrawals at
Tested both ops over a Friday-Sunday weekend with matched $250 BTC withdrawals. Wild Casino cashed out in 4 minutes (Friday 6pm). Cafe Casino cashed out in 53 minutes (Saturday 11am). Both fully verified accounts, no friction.
Cafe Casino's slower number is consistent with their stated 'within the hour' policy. Wild Casino is just faster.

This is actually helpful timing since I'm setting up my first crypto withdrawal. Was planning to use Bitcoin since that's what everyone talks about, but sounds like Litecoin might be smarter for regular payouts.
Do most wallets support both? I downloaded Exodus but haven't funded anything yet. The fee difference alone seems worth switching if I'm cashing out weekly.

Tried this last week after reading about Litecoin speeds somewhere else. BetOnline took 28 minutes for a $450 LTC withdrawal vs their usual 3+ hours for Bitcoin. The
Problem is I keep forgetting which wallets have which coins. Ended up sending to my Bitcoin address by mistake once and had to contact support. They sorted it out but took two days of back and forth.
Worth the switch if you're organized about it. Just make sure you're copying the right wallet address — Litecoin and Bitcoin addresses look similar but they're not compatible.
