Just tried to load up my account for tonight's Bears-Vikings game and Ethereum gas fees are sitting at

Just hit a decent win on NBA props last week and trying to cash out $950 from an offshore book. They're asking for driver's license, bank statement from last 30 days, and a selfie holding my ID. Submitted everything Tuesday morning but still showing "under review" 4 days later.

Is this normal timing? The site says 24-48 hours for document verification but I'm past that window. This is my first withdrawal over $500 so maybe they're being extra careful, but getting nervous about the delay.

What's been everyone's actual experience with verification times? Trying to figure out if I should be worried or just wait it out.

8 per transaction. My usual

00 deposit to catch the live betting action is getting eaten alive by network congestion.

Coinbase is showing 45+ minute confirmation times, which means I'm missing the first quarter spreads completely. This happened during the Packers game two weeks ago too — seems like Monday Night Football always triggers this network bottleneck.

Anyone finding workarounds for this? Thinking about switching to Polygon or maybe just going the Bitcoin route, but that's usually 3-4 confirmations minimum.

Bitcoin's actually faster right now. Just did a

00 deposit and it cleared in 22 minutes with the mempool relatively empty. ETH is a nightmare during prime time — learned that lesson the hard way during last season's playoff push.

Been using Super Slots for exactly this reason — they accept Litecoin deposits that clear in under 10 minutes even during network spikes. Gas fees are usually under $0.50 and I've never missed a live bet because of blockchain delays. Their deposit minimums are reasonable too,

5 for LTC versus the $50 ETH minimum most places require.

Made the switch after getting burned on a Bears comeback bet last month when my ETH deposit took 90 minutes to process. Sometimes the alternative networks just make more sense for sports betting windows.

You're overthinking this crypto nonsense when the Bears are about to get demolished anyway. Vikings defense is gonna eat Caleb Williams alive — save your gas fees and your bankroll.

This is why I keep multiple wallets loaded across different networks. Had Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Tron ready to go for Sunday's slate and still almost missed the Ravens live total when it dropped 3 points after their opening drive stalled.

The real issue isn't just gas fees — it's that every crypto casino seems to have different confirmation requirements. Some want 1 Bitcoin confirmation, others demand 3. Lucky Creek actually processes Bitcoin deposits after just 1 confirmation, which saved me during that crazy Dolphins-Bills overtime game where the total kept moving.

I've started treating network congestion like injury reports — you plan around it or you get caught flat-footed. Monday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, playoff games, they all create these bottlenecks. The smart money has backup plans ready. Keep at least

00 in a fast network like Litecoin or Dogecoin for these situations, even if your main plays go through ETH or BTC.

Polygon deposits are instant but half these sites don't support MATIC yet. Been pushing my regular spots to add more Layer 2 options because this ETH mainnet congestion is getting ridiculous.

00? That's 14% overhead before you even place a bet.

Wait, so the network gets slower when more people are using it? I thought crypto was supposed to be faster than regular banking. My Chase account would have this deposit done in seconds but I wanted to try crypto betting for the privacy aspect.

Should I just stick with traditional deposits until I understand this better? The gas fee thing is confusing enough without having to worry about missing bets because of network delays.

@newbie nadia chi — Chase might be faster for the deposit but try withdrawing your winnings back to Chase and see how that goes. Most traditional banks will freeze your account the second they see gambling-related transactions, especially if you're moving decent amounts. I learned this the hard way after a

,200 withdrawal from an offshore book got my checking account locked for 5 business days while they "investigated suspicious activity."

The ETH congestion is annoying but at least Ignition processes Bitcoin deposits in under 20 minutes even during network spikes. Their fee structure is way more predictable than dealing with $40+ gas fees when everyone's trying to bet the same primetime games.
