Placed a

40 bet on Bears under 8.5 wins back in August at +105 odds through Caesars Sportsbook Illinois. The Bears finished 7-10 so the bet should have settled Sunday night after the Packers game, but it's been 72 hours and still shows "pending review" in my account.

Called customer service twice and they keep saying "unusual betting patterns require additional verification" but won't explain what that means. My account is fully verified and I've been betting there since they launched in Illinois.

Anyone else having issues with Caesars taking forever to pay out season-long props? This is my biggest win of the season and I need the funds to cover some holiday expenses.

Caesars has been pulling this garbage all season. They drag their feet on any win over

Just hit a decent win on NBA props last week and trying to cash out $950 from an offshore book. They're asking for driver's license, bank statement from last 30 days, and a selfie holding my ID. Submitted everything Tuesday morning but still showing "under review" 4 days later.

Is this normal timing? The site says 24-48 hours for document verification but I'm past that window. This is my first withdrawal over $500 so maybe they're being extra careful, but getting nervous about the delay.

What's been everyone's actual experience with verification times? Trying to figure out if I should be worried or just wait it out.

00 hoping you'll blow it on slots while waiting. Classic stall tactic from a corporate book that doesn't want to pay winners.

The "unusual betting patterns" line is usually code for them running additional checks on season-long props that hit early. Since the Bears were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in Week 16, they probably flagged any under 8.5 bets for review.

I've seen this with other sportsbooks too. DraftKings held my Commanders under 6.5 wins for 96 hours last season using similar language. Eventually paid out but took threatening to file a complaint with the Illinois Gaming Board.

For future reference, I've had much better luck with crypto books for props. Wild Casino processes my NFL futures within 24 hours, no questions asked. Their lines aren't always as sharp but the peace of mind is worth it.

Wait, they can just hold your money like that? I thought regulated books in Illinois had to pay out winning bets within 24 hours. This is making me nervous about the

80 I have pending on a Bulls over 41.5 wins bet.

Caesars pulled the same stunt on me back in October when I hit a $890 parlay on Bears ML + under 42.5 total against Washington. Took them 5 days to pay out and they claimed it was because one leg had "irregular line movement" even though both bets were standard.

The frustrating part is you can't withdraw your original bankroll while they're "reviewing" the win. So your entire account is basically frozen. I ended up moving most of my action to offshore books after that experience.

Super Slots has been my go-to since then. Their sportsbook section isn't huge but they pay Bitcoin withdrawals in under 12 hours. Hit a 4-team NFL teaser there last Sunday for $520 and had the crypto in my wallet by Monday morning. No verification delays, no "unusual pattern" nonsense.

Just a reminder that Illinois Gaming Board complaints can be filed online if a licensed operator fails to pay out verified winnings within their stated timeframe. Caesars' terms say 72 hours for manual review cases, so you're right at the threshold.

Document everything - screenshots of the pending bet, your call logs with customer service, etc. Sometimes just mentioning you're preparing a regulatory complaint gets things moving faster.

This is exactly why I stick to live betting and avoid season-long props on the regulated books. Too many ways for them to slow-play payouts or find excuses to hold funds.

Had a similar issue with BetRivers last year on a White Sox under 75.5 wins. Took 8 days and multiple calls to get my $450 payout. Never again.

That 8-day delay on your White Sox under 75.5 wins is brutal. I've had Caesars hold a $640 NBA playoff series winner for 6 days claiming they needed to "verify the outcome" even though the series was over and stats were final. The manual review excuse gets old fast when you're waiting on legitimate winnings.

What kills me is how they process deposits in seconds but suddenly need 72+ hours to push a button on payouts. At least with offshore books you know upfront they might take a week - these regulated shops act like they're doing you a favor by eventually paying what they owe.
