Just hit a decent win on NBA props last week and trying to cash out $950 from an offshore book. They're asking for driver's license, bank statement from last 30 days, and a selfie holding my ID. Submitted everything Tuesday morning but still showing "under review" 4 days later.

Is this normal timing? The site says 24-48 hours for document verification but I'm past that window. This is my first withdrawal over $500 so maybe they're being extra careful, but getting nervous about the delay.

What's been everyone's actual experience with verification times? Trying to figure out if I should be worried or just wait it out.

00 bet on Bears season wins under 6.5 at +110 back in August when the preseason hype was still rolling. Now we're sitting at 4 wins with Lions and Packers left on the schedule.

Tried to hedge with an over 6.5 bet yesterday but Bovada's system shows "futures market suspended" for all Bears season prop adjustments. Called support and they claimed it's standard protocol to lock derivative bets once mathematical outcomes become limited.

The Math Doesn't Add Up

With 2 games remaining, Bears need to win both to push my under bet to 6.5 exactly. The payout structure shows under 6.5 wins at +110 ($420 total return on my

00), but I can't find any book offering over 6.5 at decent odds to lock in profit.

Anyone else getting locked out of futures hedging this late in NFL season? This feels like the books protecting themselves when the math gets too obvious for bettors.

Same exact situation happened to me on Cubs win total last season. BetOnline kept their futures markets open through the final 2 weeks when most books suspended. Their system lets you hedge right up until mathematical elimination.

The Bears schedule is brutal though - Lions are 11-4 and Packers need that division. Your under 6.5 is probably safe but I get wanting to lock in profit.

Books always pull this garbage when the outcome gets obvious. They'll take your money when it's 50/50 but lock you out when you want to guarantee profit.

Try live betting individual games instead of season futures. Bears +7.5 against Lions might be available.

I've been tracking futures suspension patterns across 8 different books since September, and Bovada typically locks season win totals when teams have 3 or fewer games remaining and need specific outcomes to reach the number. It's not personal - it's algorithmic risk management.

That said, Thunderpick has been keeping their NFL futures active longer than most books this season. They had Dolphins over/under available until week 16 when other places suspended at week 14. Worth checking if they still have Bears props open.

Your under 6.5 is sitting pretty though. Bears offensive line is decimated and both remaining opponents are playing for playoff positioning. I'd be shocked if they win both games, but I understand wanting to hedge a

Wait, can someone explain how hedging works on futures? If he bet under 6.5 and Bears are at 4 wins, wouldn't he want to bet over 6.5 now? But that seems like betting both sides.

Nadia - hedging lets you guarantee profit regardless of outcome. If Dan's under 6.5 bet wins, he gets $420 total. If he places

50 on over 6.5 at +200 odds and Bears win both games, that over bet pays $450. He'd lose the original

50 profit either way.

The problem is finding over 6.5 at good enough odds to make the hedge profitable. Most books suspend these markets specifically to prevent this strategy when outcomes get predictable.

Forget the hedge - Bears aren't winning both games. Lions are fighting for the 1 seed and Packers need every win for wild card positioning. Your under 6.5 is basically guaranteed money at this point.

I learned this lesson last year trying to hedge a Commanders under that was already won. Sometimes the smart play is just letting your original bet ride when the math is that obvious.
