Noticed something weird with BetUS this morning. Their Bears season win total is still sitting at 8.5 over +110/under -130, but that line should have moved after yesterday's defensive coordinator firing. FanDuel already dropped it to 7.5, and DraftKings has it at 8 even money both ways.

The NFC North futures are even more off — Bears to win division still showing +850 when it should be closer to +1200 after this coaching shakeup. I've got a pending bet from Tuesday at those old numbers, but now I'm wondering if they'll honor it or void for "obvious error."

Anyone else seeing outdated lines stick around?

This isn't the first time I've caught slow line movement there, but usually it's just a few minutes behind the sharp books. This has been 18+ hours now with no adjustment.

Hold up — you're betting the Bears to actually improve after firing the DC? That defense gave up 31 points per game in December. New coordinator isn't walking into some hidden talent goldmine here. Maybe BetUS knows something you don't about how bad this roster actually is.

Those +850 division odds might be generous even with the coaching change. Packers and Lions both got better this offseason while we're still pretending Caleb Williams fixes everything.

I've been tracking line movement delays across different books for the past six months, and BetUS consistently runs 4-12 hours behind on futures adjustments. Their live betting is fine, but anything long-term seems to update on a manual review cycle rather than algorithmic.

Your Tuesday bet should absolutely stand — I've never seen them void for slow internal updates, only for genuine pricing errors like decimal point mistakes. The real question is whether you want to hedge now that other books have moved. BetWhale has Bears under 7.5 at +105 if you want to lock in some middle action.

I'd document the timestamp on your original bet slip just in case, but their terms usually protect wagers placed before line corrections.

Same issue here but with their college basketball futures. Had Duke at +2800 to make the Final Four from last week, and that line disappeared completely after their starter got injured. No notification, no adjustment offer — just gone from my bet slip.

Customer service took 36 hours to respond and basically said "market volatility" without explaining why the bet vanished. At least your wager is still showing. I'm moving my action to Bovada for anything longer than a week out — their futures stay live even when lines shift dramatically.

This is exactly why I stopped trusting single-book futures plays. You get these sweet spots where one shop hasn't updated yet, but then you're stuck wondering if they'll actually pay when the bet hits. Happened to me with a Blackhawks playoff odds play last season — got them at +1400 when they should have been +800 after a key trade, but BetUS graded it as a push when they "discovered the error" three weeks later.

Now I always cross-reference at least three books before placing anything over

Just hit a decent win on NBA props last week and trying to cash out $950 from an offshore book. They're asking for driver's license, bank statement from last 30 days, and a selfie holding my ID. Submitted everything Tuesday morning but still showing "under review" 4 days later.

Is this normal timing? The site says 24-48 hours for document verification but I'm past that window. This is my first withdrawal over $500 so maybe they're being extra careful, but getting nervous about the delay.

What's been everyone's actual experience with verification times? Trying to figure out if I should be worried or just wait it out.

00. If the line is significantly off, I'll take smaller positions on multiple platforms rather than loading up on the one outlier. Sure, you miss some of the edge, but you also avoid the headache of fighting for your payout later.

The Bears coaching situation is interesting though — defensive coordinator changes usually don't move win totals that much unless it's a really high-profile hire. Maybe BetUS is just being conservative until they see who actually gets the job.

Bro the Bears are COOKED regardless of coaching 😂🔥 That roster has more holes than Swiss cheese. Williams looked decent but he's throwing to practice squad receivers half the time. Defense can't stop a nosebleed even with a new coordinator.

Take the under at whatever number you can find! 💰

I'm pretty new to futures betting, but wouldn't this be a good opportunity to bet both sides if the lines are really that different between books? Like, bet the over 8.5 at BetUS and under 8 somewhere else? I've been reading about arbitrage opportunities but never actually seen one in real time.

Also, how long do these coaching changes usually take to get reflected in the odds? I placed my first NFL futures bet last week on the Bears making playoffs at +340, and now I'm second-guessing everything after reading this thread.
