Submitted my driver's license and bank statement to verify my account 11 days ago and still getting the "under review" status. The photos are crystal clear — took them in good lighting, all four corners visible, no glare. Bank statement is the official PDF download from Chase, not a screenshot.

Is this normal processing time for offshore books? Support keeps saying "24-48 hours" but we're way past that. I've got

40 sitting in limbo and can't withdraw until this clears.

Anyone else dealing with these verification delays recently? Starting to wonder if I should have gone with a different book from the start.

11 days is excessive even for offshore standards. Most books I use clear verification in 3-5 business days max. Sounds like either a backlog or they're being extra cautious with new accounts.

Had a similar nightmare with verification last month. Submitted everything perfect the first time, waited 8 days, then they asked for a utility bill on top of what I already sent. Turned out they wanted proof of address that matched my license exactly — my bank statement had a PO Box which apparently didn't count.

Finally got approved after sending my ComEd bill, but the whole process took 14 days total. The frustrating part was support giving me different answers each time I asked. One agent said documents looked fine, another said they needed additional verification for "security reasons."

If you're looking for faster verification, I've had good luck with MyBookie — they cleared my documents in 72 hours when I opened that account. Much smoother process overall.

Chase PDF statements sometimes get flagged because they're too easy to fake. Some books want the actual paper statement or a screenshot from your online banking that shows the URL bar. Stupid system but that's how these offshore operations work.

11 days though? That's just poor customer service. Should be 3-4 days tops even with extra scrutiny.

Document verification delays have definitely increased across the industry. I track processing times and the average went from 2.8 days in late 2023 to 4.2 days currently. Part of it is increased regulatory pressure, part is just volume.

That said, 11 days suggests either a technical issue or they're manually reviewing your account for some reason. Could be as simple as your name format not matching exactly between documents, or they flagged something about your deposit method.

I'd recommend XBet for future reference — they've consistently maintained faster verification times, usually 48-72 hours even for new customers. Their document upload system also gives real-time feedback if there are formatting issues.

Stop being polite with support. Tell them you're considering withdrawing your business if this isn't resolved in 24 hours. Sometimes you need to escalate to get actual answers instead of copy-paste responses.

This is exactly why I'm nervous about trying offshore books. How do you know which ones are legitimate if they can just hold your money indefinitely during "verification"? Are there any red flags I should watch for when choosing where to sign up?

@newbie nadia chi — the biggest red flag is when they ask for stuff that makes no sense. Had a book last year request my electric bill, bank statement, AND a selfie with my driver's license all for a

40 withdrawal. Took one look at their terms and realized they were just stalling tactics.

What I learned is stick to books that are clear upfront about what docs they need. Most legit ones want ID, proof of address, maybe a card photo if you deposited that way. When they start asking for your grandmother's birth certificate or screenshots of your crypto wallet history, that's when you know they're fishing for reasons to delay.

The 11-day thing sounds excessive unless you sent blurry photos or something. Even the slower books I've used wrap verification in 5-7 days max.
